GENERAL BUSINESS CONSULTING SERVICES
In addition to the specialist services we offer, such as 'Digital Business Transformation', 'Optimising Service Delivery Operations' and 'Digital Work Management', we also offer more general consulting services including:
Writing Business Cases … developing a compelling case for change by providing a comprehensive assessment of the existing environment and associated risks and challenges, the changes proposed to address these and take advantage of opportunities identified, the outcomes this change will deliver, the strategic fit, the options considered and recommended, the planned approach to change and resources required, the associated effort and timeline, as well as the costs, benefits and return on investment.
Designing and Developing Proof of Concept Solutions … to help the team learn fast by understanding what the technology can and can’t do, understanding what effort is involved, identifying previous unknowns, informing business design decisions, helping communicate the vision and possible benefits to user groups and other stakeholders, and gaining feedback from customers as well as these users and stakeholders.
Work Management Assessments … identifying what work is currently done (how, where and by whom), the skills required, how staff are managed and led, what controls are in place to measure performance and quality, and what features, functions, layouts etc that will enable staff to do their work both effectively and efficiently.
Business Analysis … providing structured analysis, assessment, planning, design and documentation services. These may range from traditional business process design and requirements gathering, through to more facilitative services to support the business in their identification of business improvement initiatives across all aspects of operations and the assessment of the costs, benefits, risks and opportunities associated with this change. This can extend to translating business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, and assisting with the specification and management of the Minimal Viable Product and Product Backlog throughout an agile development.
Planning and Facilitating Design … leading a broad range of design initiatives, workshops or activities, including operating model design, service design, customer journey design, process design, integrated business and technology solution design, high level design and detailed design.
Decision Support … designing, building and applying models and frameworks to support fact-based and structured problem solving and decision-making. These might be applied for prioritisation of investment opportunities, assessment of ‘technology fit’, or any manner of decisions involving multiple factors to be considered, weighted and assessed.
Procurement Support … through the preparation of tender documents (RFIs, RFPs etc) and supporting the evaluation of responses.
